TxDOT SH 360 Widening Project

The project will widen a 5.4-mile section of SH 360 from three lanes to four lanes each direction by adding an additional north and southbound lane. Bridges at Park Row Drive and Mayfield Road will be widened, and the bridge over Abram Street and its entrance and exit ramps will be fully rebuilt.

Client's Challenge

To address the growing transportation needs in Arlington, the project will improve mobility and reduce congestion through the SH 360 corridor. Noise walls will also be constructed to mitigate impacts from highway sounds.

Fluor's Solution

The SH 360 Widening Project is being executed with Fluor's strategic self-perform platform, which was formed to bring TxDOT a strong partner in the Bid-Build market and provide a robust platform to support the state's growing infrastructure needs. SH 360 is one of several projects Fluor is constructing for TxDOT, allowing Fluor the opportunity to continue development of its construction resources and knowledge of the Bid-Build market in Texas.

Construction began in June 2018, and completion is estimated in 2020. Once complete, the project will improve mobility in the Arlington area.
