Eneabba Rare Earth Refinery Expression of Interest
Iluka Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery
Supplier and Contractor Expression of Interest (EOI)
Iluka Rare Earths Pty Ltd (Iluka), a wholly owned subsidiary of Iluka Resources Pty Ltd, is building the Eneabba Rare Earth Refinery (ERER) in Eneabba, Western Australia. The ERER will be Australia’s first fully integrated rare earth refinery and will establish Western Australia as a strategic hub for the downstream processing of rare earth resources. The ERER will produce a number of rare earth oxides, (including neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium) which are critical resources used in a range of industries and high-end technologies, and in particular the production of electric vehicles and renewable energy. The development of the ERER is supported by the Australian Government as part of the Critical Minerals Facility.
Iluka has engaged Fluor Australia Pty Ltd (Fluor) to provide Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services for the construction of the ERER. Fluor is authorised to act for and on behalf of Iluka in the procurement and subsequent contract management of goods and services for the ERER Project. Fluor's Perth, Western Australian Office, will lead the Project.
