Mike Alexander

Group President,
Project Execution


Mike Alexander serves as Group President, Project Execution for Fluor Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of major projects, project execution services, engineering and technology, construction and fabrication, health, safety and environment (HSE), quality and security. The Project Execution group helps ensure that our teams have the leadership skills, tools, capabilities, training, technologies and best practices to deliver our projects with certainty and execution excellence.

Prior to assuming his current position, Mike was Business Group President, Energy Solutions, leading global operations and business development across the energy and chemicals markets, including support for client needs in both traditional and new markets focused on energy transition. Preceding this role, he was President of the Chemicals business line within Fluor’s Energy Solutions business group.

In the past, he also served as President of Fluor’s Energy & Chemicals business line in the Americas, responsible for the region’s upstream, downstream, chemicals and petrochemicals industries.

Since joining Fluor in 1991, Mike has held a variety of leadership roles in project and program management, engineering management, construction management, commissioning and start-up management, mechanical equipment design, estimating, scheduling and job cost control for industries including energy and chemicals, life sciences, manufacturing and government.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in building construction from Virginia Tech and attended executive management and leadership programs at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
