Alan M. Bennett

Director since 2011, Alan M. Bennett is Chairperson of the Audit Committee and a member of the Executive and Organization and Compensation Committees.

Alan brings a deep understanding of business operations, finance, sales and marketing. He is former President & Chief Executive Officer of H&R Block, Inc. where he served from July 2010 until his retirement in May 2011. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Aetna, Inc. from September 2001 to February 2007.

His leadership roles at H&R Block and Aetna provide the Board with valuable public company insights into business strategy and financial planning. His sales and marketing background provides valuable understanding of customer relationships, negotiation and contracting. In addition, he brings almost 40 years of experience in accounting and financial matters to our Audit Committee.

Alan is also a director of Halliburton Company and The TJX Companies.​
