General Overview

AFCAP V provides the Air Force and other government agencies with additional capabilities to rapidly support the logistic requirements of its deployed forces through the use of civilian contractors.

The program utilizes pre-qualified vendors accessible via cost reimbursement task orders and provides cost-effective, highly responsive solutions to meet urgent needs. Depending on urgency, requirements or task, contracts can be structured to firm-fixed-price, cost-plus fixed fee or cost-plus award fee task orders.

Scope

The AFCAPV V contract intends to provide resources and management necessary to plan for, establish, maintain, operate, and dismantle remote sites and operations in support of worldwide contingency and humanitarian missions for the Department of Defense.

Requirements will focus on emergency and contingency planning, training, deployment, and other services in support of support the Air Force and other Department of Defense and U.S. federal agencies.

The contract will also support COVID-19 response for the Air Force or any Federal Government entity supporting National Command authority objectives as needed.
