Sandeep Nibber is president of Fluor's Energy & Chemicals business line for the Asia Pacific region. He is responsible for business development and operations in the upstream and downstream oil and gas markets, and the chemical and petrochemical industries.
Previously, Mr. Nibber served as senior vice president, Global Metals and Fertilizers, for Fluor's Mining & Metals group, responsible for global metals and fertilizers operations and was executive sponsor for large capital projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Peru, Chile and the U.S.
Joining Fluor in 2007, Mr. Nibber served as general manager of U.S. mining and global metals operations in San Francisco, California.
Mr. Nibber has over 30 years of industry experience, including project operations, project management, project controls, procurement and finance administration.
Mr. Nibber has been involved with various energy, chemical, mining and infrastructure projects, including minerals processing facilities, power plants, civil construction projects, environmental cleanup, light rail transit systems, highway improvement and commercial developments.
Mr. Nibber holds a master's degree in structural engineering and construction management from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Thapar College of Engineering in Punjab, India.
