Michael A. Rogers is vice president, Construction & Fabrication for Fluor Corporation. He is responsible for safe, efficient project execution and ongoing support of business line pursuits.
Mr. Rogers has more than 38 years of construction experience with Fluor on both domestic and international projects. He was previously senior project manager/senior construction manager of infrastructure projects for a multi-billion dollar capital oil project in Kazakhstan.
Mr. Rogers joined the company in 1981 as a construction craftsman. He has held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility in construction, field engineering, and project management. Previous assignments include deputy general manager of the COOEC-Fluor fabrication yard in China, project director for an oil sands megaproject in Canada, project director for two mining and metals megaprojects in South America, construction lead for Fluor's mining and metals business worldwide, Energy & Chemicals director of construction for sub-Saharan Africa, and construction site manager for numerous projects in the United States.
