Joel Strang serves as vice president, quality & CPI, for Fluor Corporation. He is responsible for overall integrated (engineering, procurement / supply chain, fabrication, and construction, including where applicable, commissioning and start-up) quality assurance and continuous performance improvement through the life cycle of all projects executed within Fluor's commercial business lines of Infrastructure & Power, Mining & Metals, Industrial Services, Energy & Chemicals (E&C) Americas, E&C EAME and E&C Asia Pacific.
Since joining Fluor in 1980, Mr. Strang has held a variety of positions. Most recently, he served as general manager of engineering for Fluor in Houston, Texas. Additional positions include piping engineering global functional leader, piping department manager for Fluor in Houston and engineering manager and piping engineering and design lead providing leadership on projects worldwide, including the United States, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan.
Mr. Strang is a board member of Fluor Federal Petroleum Operations.
