Anthony (Tony) Morgan serves as the President for Fluor’s Mining and Metals Business Line. He has responsibility for strategy and business development, client relationships, and overall project and operations performance for this business segment.
Fluor’s mining and process expertise encompasses all aspects of minerals and metals recovery from extraction studies through to process design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, start-up and commissioning of any size of processing facilities and related infrastructure.
Previously Mr. Morgan served as the Vice President of Global Business Development and Sales for Fluor’s Mining and Metals business. He joined Mining and Metals in 2009 and quickly became a key member of the management team leading sales through a period of unprecedented growth.
During Mr. Morgan’s 27 years with Fluor, he has worked in many of Fluor’s key business segments, including mining and metals, petroleum refining, petrochemicals, pulp and paper and industrial facilities. Mr. Morgan began his career as a civil engineer, worked in the home office and as a field engineer on several UK construction sites. He then moved to Saudi Arabia for three years where he worked as a project manager, before relocating to Canada for eight years where he became a Sales Director. He is currently a resident of Australia.
He has a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from Kingston University, London and Master of Engineering, Project Management from The University of Calgary.
