Anthony (Tony) Morgan serves as the president for Fluor's Mining & Metals business line. He has responsibility for strategy and business development, client relationships and overall project and operations performance for this business segment.
Fluor's mining and process expertise encompasses all aspects of minerals and metals recovery from extraction studies through to process design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, start-up and commissioning of any size of processing facilities and related infrastructure.
Previously, Mr. Morgan served as vice president of global business development and sales for Fluor's Mining & Metals business. He joined Mining & Metals in 2009 and quickly became a key member of the management team, leading sales through a period of unprecedented growth.
During Mr. Morgan's 29 years with Fluor, he has worked in many of Fluor's key business segments, including mining & metals, petroleum refining, petrochemicals, pulp and paper and industrial facilities. Mr. Morgan began his career as a civil engineer, worked in the home office and as a field engineer on several UK construction sites. He then moved to Saudi Arabia for three years, where he worked as a project manager, before relocating to Canada for eight years, where he became a sales director. He is currently a resident of Australia.
He has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Kingston University, London, and a master's degree in engineering and project management from the University of Calgary.
