Partnering With Public Health and Critical Human Needs Providers

As a global company working in both developed and developing countries, we recognize how important it is to ensure that people have access to healthcare and critical human needs. We provide a variety of funding and other supports for people in urgent need in our communities across the globe.

By participating in food programs and partnering with meal service delivery organizations, Fluor and our employees provided nearly 706,000 meals to those who were hungry in 2023. In addition, community programs such as health care check-ups for the disadvantaged, disaster relief for those in crisis and emergency shelter for the domestically abused are some of the preventative and emergency services that were provided to thousands of individuals as a result of Fluor and our employees' investments.

Support for Ukrainian Refugees

The war in Ukraine caused a humanitarian crisis in Europe with millions of refugees crossing the Ukrainian border into countries such as Poland where Fluor has a major presence. Our employees in Gliwice, Poland were among the many who opened their homes and rolled up their sleeves to help. Additionally, Fluor employees around the world donated thousands of dollars to provide food, shelter and meaningful assistance to Ukrainians in need.

The Fluor Foundation donated US$125,000 to the World Food Programme to provide nutritious meals and critical supplies to Ukraine. Additional support included laptops for Ukrainian students in exile to restart their education, a playground for families at a temporary shelter in Gliwice, Poland and medical supplies for those injured in the conflict.

Disaster Relief

When disasters hit in countries where Fluor is present, we are quick to respond with financial and in-kind donations as well as employee volunteerism. In the last few years, we have contributed to crisis response efforts dedicated to hurricane Ian in Florida, Super Typhoon Rai (Odette) in the Philippines, tornadoes in the U.S. Midwest, floods in the Parwan Province of Afghanistan, Cyclone Idai in Mozambique, Keral floods in India, the Mocoa avalanche in Colombia, floods in Peru, wildfires in Canada and California, the earthquake in Nepal, floods and hurricanes along the U.S. Gulf Coast and floods and the Taal Volcano eruption in the Philippines.
