Fluor's giving programs focus support on organizations around the world where the company has a presence. Fluor and The Fluor Foundation contributed more than $7.5 million in 2016 in financial support to community initiatives and programs.
Fluor focuses its charitable efforts and resources in the areas of:
Fluor Matching Gifts Program
The Fluor Matching Gifts Program encourages U.S. and Canadian employees to contribute to primary and secondary schools, technical schools, colleges and universities. The Fluor Foundation matches employee contributions dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000 per year per employee.
Whether in China, the Netherlands, India, the Philippines or the United States, Fluor employees find ways to contribute to their communities by volunteering their time and talent to raise money.
In North America, Fluor supports the United Way® and other health and human services organizations. During the 2016 Employee Giving Campaign, Fluor and its employees pledged $5.5 million to United Way and other health and human services agencies in the U.S. and Canada.
Fluor employees continue to give back in many other ways. In Greenville, South Carolina and Houston, Texas, employees raise funds with the annual Golf for Greenville® and Golf for Greater Houston events. To date, these events have raised approximately $6.2 million for area charities.
