Power Plant Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance Services in South Africa

Fluor designs, builds, and maintains power plants that use a variety of fuel sources, including coal, gas, oil, nuclear, solar, and wind. Fluor South Africa has performed engineering, construction, and maintenance services on numerous power projects over the past 50 years.

Fluor has completed 14 power projects in South Africa in the past 10 years. Project scopes included feasibility studies, front-end engineering and design (FEED), and comprehensive EPCM.

Fluor South Africa was selected in 2010 by CCI on behalf of the African Department of Energy to develop a conceptual Indicative Master Plan Study for a five-gigawatt solar park in South Africa, which would be one of the largest in the world.
