Fluor engineered and managed the construction of the giant Ju'aymah crude oil terminal and LPG terminals. Initially, Fluor provided conceptual design for the onshore terminal, offshore platform, and tanker moorings. In addition, the company developed all preliminary engineering designs, equipment arrangements, and specifications for the construction material.
- This project included five 56-inch subsea loading lines and six single-point mooring systems (SPMs)
- An onshore pumping system provided crude oil loading at rates of 130,000 bbl per hour
- A 24-leg metering platform was installed, along with a six-mile trestle to the LPG berths and a large tank farm
