Corporate Social Responsibility 2010
The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Poland recognized Fluor Gliwice with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Company of the year for its efforts in combining core competencies with an impactful social program to meet needs of the local community. AmCham made the presentation Saturday, Oct. 23 during its 20th Anniversary celebration.

Fluor Gliwice demonstrated a clear commitment to CSR that goes beyond philanthropy. The company was judged by the quality of implemented CSR strategy that integrates CSR concerns into policies, actions and projects that positively impact the local community.

Year after year, Fluor Gliwice strengthens its contribution in social areas. Fluor can be proud that it provides great professional services and has great people ready to help their local community.

European Medal 2010
Business Centre Club (BCC) has awarded on the recommendation of Office of the Committee for European Integration European Economic and Social Committee (one of the most important institutions for entrepreneurs in the European Union) Fluor S.A. the European Medal for Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services.

This medal is another one in the Service category, which the Gliwice office has won thanks to its full involvement in and commitment to caring for the quality and prospects for the company, which means rendering complete services at the highest level.

Ambassador of the Polish Economy 2010
Dariusz Jędrychowski, Vice President of Fluor S.A., accepted in the name of Fluor S.A. the title of the Ambassador of the Polish Economy 2010 on May 17th in the Palace of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw. This is already the second diploma awarded to the Gliwice office, but this time in the “Creator Of 21st Century Solutions” category. Jan Borkowski, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs handed in person the award to Dariusz Jędrychowski.

The title of the Ambassador of the Polish Economy 2010 is a significant distinction in the international arena, and proves again that the Fluor S.A. offered services are of the highest quality and globally recognized.

Business Partner 2010
The activities for the local community were solemnly recognized by awarding the title of Business Partner of the Year 2009 to Fluor S.A. Appreciated were Fluor S.A.’s support for many social initiatives and other actions for children and youth, meeting the expectations of NGO organizations and the partnership based cooperation. The award was handed by Zygmunt Frankiewicz, President of the City of Gliwice to Dariusz Jędrychowski, Fluor S.A.Vice President during the Gala of 23 April 2010.

Caesar of Silesian Business 2010
This unique award for the Silesian business leaders given as recognition of their achievements was presented to Fluor SA for the second time. Once again, Fluor S.A.’s great achievements in the professional field, as well as in activities performed for the local community had been appreciated.

Grupa LOTOS Awards, December 2009
Marek Filipowski, Project Director on the project executed at the Gdansk Refinery was presented with the first award and reflects the expertise and quality of Fluor S.A. personnel and services. The second award, the UNA PRO POSTERITATE distinction was awarded to Fluor S.A. for the exceptional cooperation with the Client.

European Medal 2009
Fluor S.A. was awarded by the European Economic and Social Committee for supporting entrepreneurs as one of the most important EU’s institutions. Fluor S.A. received an award for the “Construction Management” services, which represented full involvement in the quality of services rendered and caring for future project prospects, as well as providing complete services at the highest level.

Ambassador of the Polish Economy 2009
Diploma in the “Exporter” category, to recognize the increased involvement of Polish entrepreneurs in the promotion of Poland as a credible business partner in the international arena. This all-Poland competition distinguishes and promotes firms successful in international markets, using high economic and financial standards and good business practices in international relationships, promoting Poland, Polish economy, culture, and social initiatives outside the boundaries of Poland.

Caesar of Silesian Business 2008
This prize was the distinction for the leaders of the Silesian business community and recognition for the achievements of those firms, to promote the domestic business and regional entrepreneurship. Annual accomplishments and economic and financial analyses are considered in evaluating the individual companies, as well as the charity efforts and activity within the Silesian entrepreneurial community. This award recognizes Fluor S.A. again to be one of the foremost Polish companies.

Expochem Grand Prix 2008
Awarded the main prize at the 1st International Fair of the Chemical Industry EXPOCHEM 2008 in Katowice, in the category “Services for Chemical Industry.”

Investor in Human Capital 2007
Fluor S.A. Gliwice was honored with the “Investor in Human Capital” emblem, awarded to select firms realizing unique Human Resource-oriented actions and focusing on Human Resource development and good relations with their employees.

Golden Orbital 2007
Fluor S.A. received this award for the high level of company organization and professionalism in the performance of engineering and design services for the chemical industry.

European Medal 2007
The distinction was awarded in category “Services” for presenting high-quality services and complying with European standards and regulations. This non-commercial recommendation was developed to promote and reward the services offered by Polish companies and businesses activity in the European Union market.

Golden Orbital 2006
First prize in the category “Development and Training of Industry Specialists,” to recognize Polish companies operating in the chemical segment, whose products and technologies are marked by innovative solutions and services by high quality standards.
