Locally, Fluor’s India office has been undertaking green initiative programs and activities to reduce the office’s carbon footprint. Launched in 2006, Fluor India started with awareness programs and conservation communications, continuing with specific initiatives focusing on electricity usage reduction, increasing recycling, and avoiding landfill use.
