Outsourcing the non-core operations and maintenance function allows our clients to focus resources on other critical aspects of their business. Fluor offers the wireless market segment a comprehensive solution for preventative maintenance, facility management, and emergency response/restoration for cellular sites and mobile switch centers.

We utilize state-of-the-art program management techniques and a call center integrated with our customized software tools to deliver:
  • Reduced site operating costs through work process optimization
  • Enhanced statistical data gathering, analysis, and reporting
  • Improved quality and network reliability
  • Dependable emergency response
  • A single interface point
Our facility maintenance services for cell sites, includes the following components:
  • Batteries
  • HVAC units
  • Fixed and portable generators
  • Fire suppression systems
  • Landscaping
  • General and miscellaneous repair

These services are provided on both a preventive and callout basis.

The preventive maintenance is scheduled at certain intervals, depending on the particular system. A list of preventive maintenance tasks is maintained at the site and this information is uploaded into our comprehensive database.

Callout services are performed, as necessary. These services can be either emergency response or routine in nature. Our call center is operational 24x7 to handle the emergency callouts. Typical emergency callouts are AC power failure at the cell site or high-temperature alarms from the HVAC units. Emergency callouts require immediate response, regardless of the time of day. Routine callouts are situations that do not threaten the service of the site and are generally completed within two weeks of occurrence.

All preventive maintenance and callout maintenance activities are documented in our database along with other pertinent cell site information. A wide variety of reports can be generated from the database for management review and analysis. By relying on our experience and utilizing our data, we can make recommendations to our clients regarding the equipment to be upgraded or replaced in order to improve the operational efficiency of their sites.

These services can be provided for all carrier cell sites, including remote sites located anywhere within a specific geographic region.
