Fluor's experience covers more than 200,000 miles of pipelines developed for terrains that include deserts and rain forests as well as climates ranging from sweltering tropics to the frozen arctic. The terrain traversed by these pipelines includes swamplands, mountains, oceans and rivers, as well as congested urban areas.

Subsea Pipelines
Fluor's highly skilled teams have the resources necessary to design, engineer and manage your subsea pipeline facilities and offshore developments. We have been a pioneer in the subsea industry, having managed the first deepwater port in the United States, the Louisiana Offshore Oil Port, which, to date, is the largest import facility in the United States. We provide engineering, procurement, project management as well as operation and maintenance services to subsea and deepwater projects around the world.
Fluor has also been at the forefront of subsea technologies. Our engineers have developed a wide-range of innovative technologies including: the “Smart Field Development Systems”, a subsea LNG Pipeline concept; the proprietary “Fluor Hybrid Drilling and Production Riser and Pipeline Concept”; and the Fluor Arctic Floating Loading Terminal. Fluor has the proven experience to effectively design and build a client's subsea project.
