Fluor's Healthcare group provides a wide array of program management services to assist in the planning, design, and construction for building owners and developers. Based on a needs assessment interview, we tailor our services to address each client's specific requirements. Our program embraces a team approach - involving representatives of the client, project partners, and Fluor - to establish clear project priorities. Fluor manages the design and construction process to enhance the value to the owner by helping to control costs, achieve schedule goals, and provide quality projects.

Define: Project Planning and Predesign Phase

• Identify project-specific needs and goals, working with key stakeholders using Fluor’s FOCUS® Process
• Assist with site selection and negotiation
• Provide Certificate of Need (CON) support
• Develop strategic and business planning
• Develop programming
• Prepare conceptual design and budget

Design: Design Phase

• Coordinate with designers and stakeholders
• Implement patient safety design features
• Coordinate equipment planning/procurement
• Coordinate planning/procurement of communications and IT systems
• Provide budget control processes and value analysis
• Manage permitting

Deliver: Construction Phase

• Provide site logistics/mobilization plan
• Manage project to master schedule and budget
• Implement quality assurance/quality control programs

• Oversee equipment delivery and receipt

Deliver: Start-Up Phase

• Reconcile punchlist and warranty items
• Manage contractor closeout
