The safety performance of all business groups is monitored monthly, and performance is evaluated against targets. Through our global culture of safety performance, we consistently achieve one of the best safety records in the industries we serve.

Fluor implements many projects with environmental standards beyond legal requirements and participates in efforts to improve industry environmental performance in all areas of our operations. Our proven HSE Management System integrates the highest international standards — including ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 — into each project phase and verifies our consistent and complete performance.

Leaders of the G8 nations asked the World Economic Forum to provide a business perspective on global climate change for presentation to the 2008 G8 meeting to be hosted by Japan. Alan Boeckmann is among seven leading company CEOs who serve on a steering committee that oversees the development of this policy perspective.
