Integrity through Help, Training and Certification

To ensure that employees fully understand what is expected of them and to provide adequate opportunities for questions and discussion, Fluor offers several important resources.

Seeking Help

Our employees, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners can ask questions about our Code or report any suspected misconduct through our toll-free Compliance and Ethics Hotline. The Hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with translators available. Managed by an independent organization, the Hotline makes it possible to raise an issue anonymously. In that regard, Fluor protects from retaliation all employees who in good faith raise concerns about suspected illegal or unethical conduct.

Training

We provide a variety of training programs, some web-based and others delivered live. An example of our custom-developed, web-based programs is one that strengthens employee understanding of Fluor's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. Our web-based training is intuitive and scenario-based to really engage our employees and empower them to make ethical decisions on a daily basis. Our targeted live, interactive programs includes anti-corruption training for sales and marketing, project management and field operations, procurement, subcontractors and legal; fair disclosure training for spokespersons and executive management and export control training for procurement and logistics personnel. Live training is used when risks are likely to be encountered by certain groups of employees and the opportunity for dialogue is important.

Annual Compliance and Ethics Certification

All employees are required annually to review Fluor's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics to ensure their understanding of the Company's commitment to integrity and ethics and to certify their acceptance of this important practice. This practice also provides employees the opportunity to disclose any ethical concerns or situations that could possibly be interpreted as involving a conflict of interest.
