Types of Training
Fluor knows well-trained employees work safer and smarter. Therefore, Fluor's training programs are designed to help you build knowledge and skills, for your career.
Helper Training – This program is for new workers and helps them learn entry-level skills and progress to journey-level.
Field Supervisor Training – As you grow at Fluor, you may have the opportunity to lead crews, crafts, or even project sites. Leadership requires different knowledge and a new skill set. You will learn these skills through Fluor's Field Supervisor Development Training programs. They are specifically developed for our journey-level craft workers, foremen, and general foremen and offered at many construction and maintenance project sites. The Field Supervisor Training programs provide instruction on delegating and coaching crews, managing performance, providing targeted feedback, communication styles, resolving conflict, and building a respectful workplace.
Upgrade Training – As Fluor builds quality projects that give clients the best value, it also uses new construction methods and technologies. These innovations require craft professionals who are on the cutting edge of the industry. Fluor offers training programs to journey-level craft to update them on advanced techniques and processes so we continuously improve our capabilities and services.
Welder Training – We also offer training for experienced welders to advance their skills.
