Fluor has been named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere Magazine, a national publication dedicated to illuminating the important correlation between ethics and profit. The elite list of companies were recognized for their strong leadership in ethics and compliance, advancement of industry discourse on social and ethical issues, and positive engagement in the communities in which they operate.
Fluor Recognized for Excellence in Knowledge Retention and Transfer

Fluor was one of five “best practice” organizations selected to participate in a study on “Retaining Today’s Knowledge for Tomorrow’s Workforce,” presented by The American Productivity and Quality Center (APQC). The study provided Fluor with the opportunity to participate and learn about what other organizations are doing, as well as gain new insight to enhance company knowledge management program. The session culminated in an awards ceremony where Fluor was honored for excellence.

For the second year in a row, Fluor has been recognized as a Global Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises (MAKE) Winner and is the only company in the Engineering and Construction sector to receive this recognition.
Fluor Canada Earns Best Safety Performer Award for the Fourth Time
Fluor Canada has been awarded the Work Safe Alberta 2006 Best Safety Performer for exceptional performance in workplace health and safety. This is the fourth consecutive year that Fluor has won this award.
Fluor Recognized By Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
Fluor Corporation was awarded the Freedom to Compete Award by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Fluor was recognized for its Mentoring Circles Program at its Houston office where a diverse group of employees is given exposure to members of Fluor's senior leadership in a team-based setting that allows for mentoring, information sharing, informal conversations and learning across the circle. This process is intended to further support two-way and collaborative conversations throughout the company.
Fluor Named to G.I. Jobs’ Top 50 Most Military Friendly Employer Ranking
For the second year in a row, Fluor was named as one of G.I. Jobs’ Top 50 Most Military Friendly Employers in the United States. Fluor is continually seeking skilled professionals at every level of the company. Military personnel demonstrate many of the transferable skills required to be successful in positions at Fluor.

ENR (Engineering News-Record) magazine ranks Fluor No. 1 on its list of Top 100 Contractors by New Contracts and No. 2 on its list of Top 400 Contractors and Top 100 Design-Build Firms lists.
Fluor Recognized by Department of Transportation
Fluor was recognized by the Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration (MARAD) at the Washington, D.C., Propeller Club's annual Maritime Day luncheon. Julie Nelson, MARAD's Deputy Administrator, presented Fluor with a recognition plaque for its support of U.S. flag shipping companies and the U.S. merchant marine.
