Fluor's Government Group provides base operations support, logistics, construction, education, and training to U.S. Government agencies. Fluor's projects with the Department of Defense include the total spectrum of facilities management, including operations and maintenance of 24x7 utilities, buildings, vehicles, roads and grounds, and military housing.

Fluor provides supply, fuels, and transportation services for a wide range of Government facilities. Fluor's responsibilities include every aspect of managing, delivering, and storing supplies for active military bases, including handling hazardous materials, munitions, and technical equipment. Fluor teams operate vehicle fleets and deliver vital fueling services for aircraft, ships, and land-based vehicles at locations around the world.

Fluor also provides regional, open-ended construction and renovation projects at Government facilities around the world. Fluor has successfully completed over 2,600 task and delivery orders on 31 contracts, covering 21 states. Fluor projects have included renovation of offices and industrial facilities, repair of roads and highways, dry dock construction, air traffic control towers, fiber-optic systems, historic housing, and other multi-discipline and often multi-state construction projects.

One of the company's core competencies is Education and Training. Fluor provides training services for the Department of Labor's (DOL) Job Corps Program, the nation's largest and most comprehensive residential education and job training program for at-risk youth, ages 16 through 24.
